Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine is developing a service that will allow the transfer of digital copies of documents. The service will have an increased level of personal data protection. This is stated on the Facebook page of Diya portal.
"We are working with Diya Company on a digital copy of the documents. The transfer of the electronic copy will reduce time, costs and tons of paper. Speaking on the plans - this will allow people to avoid visits to institutions and to transfer the data of the document online," the statement said.
It is noted that this service will have an increased level of protection because a third party will not be able to use the digital document.
As we reported earlier, Ukraine became the first country in the world that allows using the digital passport without provision of the paper or plastic analog.
On May 15, Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the regulation on electronic passports in the Diya application.
After the end of quarantine, the Ukrainians will be able to actively use e-passports: during the travels by railway or air transport; during the medical service and banking transactions; during the provision of administrative services.
